We’re pleased to announce that Fabrice Lig’s Melodika imprint is coming back as a digital label. With some quality releases from; Perdo Cali, Matt Chester, Lee Holman, and Taho.

To celebrate the relaunch, we will be welcoming those artists onto the blog with a series of new interviews etc.

Pedro Cali

Pedro Cali is another of Belgium’s most promising new artists. Pedro’s sound sits between techno and house, with a large dollop of twisted funk, swingy groove and brilliant deepness. So, it builds and builds and just gets more and more exciting.

Matt Chester

Matt Chester is of course the man that started 11th Hour and one of the most brilliant and musical acts in UK.

Lee Holman

Hailing from Ireland and co-founder of Sub-Culture, Lee Holman is one of Europe’s finest electronic producers. He’s already recorded for Orlando Voorn’s NightVision as well as Ferox. Blinding !

Taho

Taho needs no intrduction; he’s released on quality labels such as Laurent Garnier’s FCommunications, Wink’s Ovum imprint, Delsin, and many more !

Keep an eye on this label, it’s one of my current favourites. ;-)

Itokim returns to Fine Art Recordings with a remix for Swedeman Jens Lodén’s "Utan" – his first remix for the label, along with a remix of "Sender" by Lasimo. It will be released shortly on Fine Art Digital.

My partner in crime, Itokim, has recently signed to Samoil Radinski’ imprint Logos Recordings, Macedonia with ‘Seven Days’ as part of their first compilation. ‘Seven Days’ is already causing a storm across Europe.

Samoil Radinski has also kindly asked Itokim onboard for an EP, which will be released later this year. Some tracks on the EP have already received huge props from Santiago Salazar.

Following the work they realized for the label Mission 6277/Axis and then presented in Tokyo for the "Contact Special" sessions side by side with their Producer and Mentor Jeff Mills, Sub Space now unveils the wholeness of the project with this pure techno Album inspired by Mr. Mills of course, but also by Robert Hood for his hypnotism, Richie Hawtin for his Minimalism or Carl Craig for his deep Detroit touch.

The aficionados of the dancefloors already know the French duet Julien & Gonzague for their DJ set and explosive live, as well as for their production ranging from Funky techno to pure Techno which suggests that they come from Chicago and Detroit.

To date, Art is the only one universal medium of communication that humans have found to transmit all their feelings, their spiritualities and sensitivities buried deep inside.
Since all time art has served to convey feelings, emotions, and even messages. Art is the only way that Humans have found for the moment to pass among them what is not transmissible through speech, what they feel in the bottom of their hearts.
Maybe one day we will reach technological prowesses which will enable us to interconnect with each other, but for the moment it remains the domain of science fiction.

The Message is a travel through many feelings: Beauty, Warmth, Suspense, Mystery, and Aggression.
