Following on from the success of last spring’s "Technanomicron" tour, Alton Miller and Abdul Haqq will be returning to Japan next month for a number of dates.
Alton Miller is one of the original founders of the Detroit Music Institute and it’s been 20 years now since the club closed its doors, while Abdul Haqq has been drawing and sculpting to techno music for two decades now, doing artwork for labels such as Transmat, Planet E and Underground Resistance. To mark the 20th anniversary, they’ll be touring together, playing dates together in Nagano, Tokyo (at La Fabrique), Kyoto, Yamaguchi, Gifu and Kanagawa.
Electronic Directory caught up with Alton Miller and Abdul Haqq to chat about their upcoming Japanese tour and how they’re planning to celebrate their anniversary.
