DJ Bone’s remix shows the strength and depth of what he does, while Samuel L Session delivers an ace dancefloor banger and Aaron-Carl supplies a masterful mix with measured percussion, levitating synths and spirit-lifting strings.

Croatian techno producer Luka Baumann has been serving up experimental beats since 2004 and here he shows his deeper side with this lovely effort on Sect Records. Inception takes its strength from a solid bassline and steady beats and lush chords while Arcus does the business courtesy of dubbed out chords. Covection is a brilliant chord driven workout and Dreamful produces an all over warm feeling, courtesy of sweet synths and a pulsing bassline.

Niko Marks – Voice Box Detroit [Subject Detroit]

Niko Marks drops an EP of swinging, soulful house efforts that hit home. The opener, "I Can’t Stop", is a hearty vocal house gem, while "All About Love" is an explosive winner. Aaron-Carl’s WARMTH network brings a 14-track outing that marks the Preservation event in Detroit. W.A.R.M.T.H. is the organization run by Detroit’s own Aaron-Carl, hosting a weekly Internet radio show "The W.A.R.M.T.H. Sessions" and organizing its own events.
The organization is set to host a Thanksgiving Eve event at Club Oslo. For this event, they’ll be bringing out a diverse selection of some of the Detroit’s hottest electronic artists.
Aaron-Carl speaks to Electronic Directory about his W.A.R.M.T.H. organization, the upcoming Preservation event and future plans for the organization. We then caught up with fellow Detroit DJ Bone, who will be playing alongside Aaron, to ask a few questions about the W.A.R.M.T.H. and how he prepares for the event.

Niko Marks is a heavyweight musically speaking, having played in groups with the likes of Mike Banks and Eddie "Flashin’" Fowlkes, and released records on labels like Planet E, 430 West, City Boy Records and his own label U2X Productions, and a few others as well… He speaks to Electronic Directory about the DEMF, the new album with 365 Blak, and what the future holds for him.

Electronic Directory runs an interview for the lost tribe of techno. The first one with DJ Nasty. Hailing from Detroit he has made a name for himself by DJing, producing and running the Twilight 76 sister label, Motor City Electro Company. He talks to Electronic Directory about ghetto-tech, his musical influences and his forthcoming project with Subject Detroit.
